Award Winning Social Entrepreneurs with Effective Models

We are an alliance of social-entrepreneurs, led by women and indigenous communities.  We know how destructive climate change is. We are among the most vulnerable, and yet uniquely positioned to lead this solution. Our solution brings together highly collaborative thought and action leaders from both ends of global supply chains thru regenerative collaboration platforms to virtually connect, solve problems that build a regenerative supply ecosystem and reduces their overall climate risks. Using this approach we build powerful partnerships that unlock the vast resources needed to bring our solution to scale.  Corporate partners provide the resources needed by micro-entrepreneurs – women farmers gain greater access to finance, education, markets, land titles —the enabling conditions  needed to climb out of poverty for good.

This solution is possible by shared investments that bring rural farmer co-ops a profitable innovation – the Regeneration Hub, a reforestation project centered around a patented zero waste, zero emissions micro-value-added agricultural product processing factory.

With more of these hubs located throughout the tropics, we can significantly reduce the three 3 main human sources of climate damaging GHG’s.  Hubs provide incentives for farmers to halt deforestation, adopt agro-ecological agroforestry farming methods that sequester more carbon, and using our franchise model, these communities can begin to produce highly efficient forest-based bio-fuels.  Reducing the growing local fuel demand reduces fossil fuel emissions and deforestation at the same time.

The scale-up of these hubs also helps us meet the UN SDG’s because of their unique design.  They co-generate safe drinking water, green electricity, reduce food spoilage, and provide food & nutrition security. They help educate and empower women, offering living wages through micro-entrepreneurship, empowering the most vulnerable to reforest degraded land, returning ecosystem functions – and thereby helping to ensure climate justice where it is most needed.

Our Alliance member organizations have trained more than 1 million people in over 100 countries to date.  3 of these Hubs are already in operation in Indonesia, proving the model, and demonstrating a very positive ROI of 37% while also delivering important environmental and social returns.

By prioritize gender empowerment in partnership with men, and offering access to the skills and tools needed to address climate trauma and colonization, our solution holds the keys needed to unlock and sustain success long into the uncertain future.

Patient capital funding and donations are needed now to build a regeneration hub at each of our initial project sites, to kick-start the scale-up of a critical piece of the climate solution. We need your help now to solve one of the most complex problems humanity has ever faced.

With your support, we can begin to reverse climate change – we must start now, once we pass a biological tipping point it may be too late.  Our success and rapid progress over the next 10 years are paramount.

How Does It Work?

We create a sustainable finance avenue for community led and prioritized projects.  We bring this award winning innovation to farmer training centers already working with farmer cooperatives in their own communities.  The Hubs offer a sustainable enterprise with a high ROI.  The profit is re-invested by the community into land regeneration and critical services like health care clinics, schools, and training programs.

Hubs are zero waste, zero emissions, value-added food processing micro-factories. They help farmer co-ops  increase the return from sale of a diverse array of sustain-ably harvested, high-value, forest products.  They also help reduce crop loss due to food spoilage.

Designed to simultaneously produce clean drinking water, organic bio-char fertilizer, and highly efficient forest-grown biofuels – like sugar palm ethanol.  A major opportunity to create a climate solution from an eco-agricultural system that has the potential to sequester atmospheric carbon on an ongoing basis, while reducing emissions from tropical deforestation and land degradation.

This video shows the sugar palm polyculture system. This is a critical system to scale-up because of its potential to replace the destructive African Oil Palm.

The current oil palm industry is rapidly deforesting the last remaining tropical forests around the globe, literally igniting “carbon bombs” as they burn the stored carbon from tropical forests, removing the forests’ carbon storing capacity and increasing greenhouse gas emissions into the over burdened atmosphere.
Sugar Palm, on the other hand, is grown in a diverse forest production system rather than a mono-culture.  It’s sugary sap can be collected year round from a forest ecosystem that requires no chemical inputs. It regenerates degraded soils, is resilient in the face of climate disruption, and is a carbon negative production system for ethanol, much more efficient than any other source of ethanol currently produced at commercial scale.

If scaled-up globally, this system could replace much of the world’s petroleum fuel use – replacing petro-fuels with a bio-fuel that can actually heal the atmosphere, sucking the excess carbon back out of the air and storing it safely in the soils and in tropical forest biomass.

There are billions of acres of degraded agricultural lands around the world that could be regenerated as part of a global carbon farming climate solution – at a cost of less than $2/hectare.

Time is of the essence.

The system is fully scale-able, being modular and made of off-the-shelf components. It can start out small, serving 40 families, and grow to serve over 6000. This video shows a smaller version for processing a high-value tree seed “butter” – ideal for cosmetic uses and as a superfood.
